The beginnings of Samer Al-Masry
Samer Al-Masry was born in the Shaghour neighborhood in
Damascus on August 3, 1969.He studied English literature at the University of
Damascus, graduated in 1991, and because of his passion for art and acting, he
went to the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and graduated from him in
1996.Then he joined the Artists Syndicate in the same year, after which he took
his path in his busy artistic career.
Samer Al-Masry achievements
He began his artistic career in the nineties of the twentieth century,
where he participated in series such as Fares Al-Madina in 1995, the first part
of the director general’s diaries series alongside Ayman Zidan and Nadine El
Khoury in 1995 and the first and second parts of the Brothers of Dirt series in
1998 and also participated in the series Days of Wrath in 1996.
In 1997, he participated in the Hammam Al-Qaishani series in its second
part and the Ferrari series, alongside Bassam Koussa and Najah Hafeez. In the
following year, he participated in the comedy drama, Colors that burned,
directed by Mohamed Sheikh Naguib and the series Al-Toibi, alongside Ayman
Zaidan and Norman Asaad.
In 1999, he participated
in Jawad Al-Layl as Rustem Agha and in the series “Al-Ayyam” as Khaled
Al-Obian, as well as in the “Call of the Mediterranean” series.
Samer continued his
artistic career in the new millennium with more works of art and different
personalities, where he was a guest in the series The Stories of Ambiguity in
2000 as he participated in the historical epic Minister Salim as Abu Nuwaira,
and in Ramadan for the same year he presented the nightmares program (Ramadan
Fawazir) and participated in the series Al-Bawasil as Dhigham .
In 2001 Samer participated in four series, which
passes Hanna as Shalaby, who dealt with the topic of the Arab revolution
against the French occupation, along with Salim Kallas and Khaled Taj, the
short series The Man S in the role of Haitham, the series Rizma Money, and the
series Black Painting by Moataz.
In 2002, Samer
participated in three series, which are Warda for the Fall and the historical
series Saqr Quraish, alongside Jamal Suleiman.
In 2003, he participated in four series, namely
the series “Claws of Jasmine,” the comic series, The Last Time, and the social
series, Rabea Bela Zuhour, which dealt with some social traditions circulating
in Syria in general and the city of Aleppo in particular.
Samer Al-Masry continued his career with a new year full of
more roles that he presented, where he participated in the Arab series Virgin
of the Mountain as Prince Abdul Qadir and the series Abu Zaid Al-Hilali as Diab
bin Ghanem as well as Salloum Haddad and Abbas Al-Nuri and the series Men under
the Tarbush and the comic series Marzouk on all fronts alongside Ayman Reda and
Qusai Khouli also participated in the influential national epic, returning to
Haifa, alongside Norman Asaad and Sabah Al-Jazaery. He participated in the role
of Tariq in the series Killing Al-Rabi ’alongside Mona Wasef and Salim Klaas.
In 2005, Samer participated in three series, namely the
series Ayash as Badr Abd Al-Latif Ayyash, which dealt with the biography of the
Palestinian militant and leader of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades. He
participated in the historical series Al-Murabitun and Al-Andalus in the role
of Al-Mu'tamid bin Abbad and the spot-light series Part V with multiple
personalities.
Samer Al-Masry continued his career in the year 2006 with
more success and roles, as he played his sure role in the series Abu Al-Hara
series in the local and Arab levels.
In 2007, in addition to the second part of Bab Al-Hara,
Samer participated in four other works which are The Biography of Love, where
he participated in multiple roles and the series Khaled Bin Al-Walid, the
second part as Khaled Bin Al-Walid, the series of Rulings of Justice alongside
Kinda Alloush and Khaled Taj, and the series Al Jamar and Al Jamar alongside
Abdul Rahman Al Sprinkle.
In 2008, in addition to the third part of Bab Al Hara, he
was a guest in the Red Line series. He also participated in the Jerusalem
series, the first of the two kisses, which dealt with an important stage in the
history of Jerusalem. Samer played the role of Izz al-Din al-Qassam. He also
participated in the series Ask Your Soul alongside a group of major Syrian
dramas such as Sabah Al-Jazaery and Amal Arafa, as he was a guest in the series
Bahloul, the most wise maniac in its second part, and he played various
personalities in the Ahl Al-Gharam series, and played the role of Major Hesham
in the series Face of Justice, and participated in the Gibran series, which
dealt with the biography of Gibran Khalil Gibran.
In 2009, he had two works, the series Beit Jeddi 2 (Al-Sham
Al-Adiyyah), with the role of Abu Hijaz and the series Tales of Sunset. In
2010, he was brief in the work of Abu Janti, the king of the taxi, who was a
star, authoring, and supervising his art and the Dabur series, where Samer
played the role of Khattab (the Dabur).

he was born into a Sunni Muslim family

maid working at Samer Al-Masry’s house appeared and accused Samer and his wife
